Activation vs Credits: How GSM Tool Licences Work
GSM repair tools are sold in three ways: a time-based activation (also called a licence, plan or subscription), server credits that are spent per operation, and short rentals of a ready account. Some tools use one model, many use two. This page explains the difference and shows which model each tool on Gsm Player uses. For prices, see the GSM tool activation price list 2026.

Activation (licence, plan or subscription)
An activation gives your tool account access for a fixed period: for example 3, 6 or 12 months. It is applied to the account you name at checkout (a username, email or the tool's User ID), and the period runs from activation. Updates are usually included while it is active. It suits a shop that uses the tool most days.
Server credits
Credits are a balance on your tool account. Operations that need the vendor's server, such as many auth, FRP or flash jobs, deduct credits each time they run, and the cost of each operation is set inside the tool. Some tools need an active licence as well as credits for most jobs (DT Pro Tool, for example); others, such as Flame Auth Tool, Xiaomi BD Auth Tool and Global FRP Tool, are sold as credits only. OumseGsm's own site describes the two models side by side: a subscription with unlimited operations for its period, or credits with no expiry, where each operation uses 1 to 5 credits.
Rent
A rental gives you login details for a ready account for a few hours, then it ends. Nothing is sent with the order; the details appear on your order page. See GSM tools rent.

Per-device iPhone services (such as iFixRamDisk, iBerry Hello Activator, MG Unlocker Pro and iAPro Activator Premium) are a fourth kind: one order covers one device, identified by its serial number, ECID or IMEI. MG Unlocker Pro also sells credits for existing users and a 3-month premium package.
New, renewal or existing user
- UnlockTool: each period is one product for a new activation or a renewal. A renewal uses the username already registered on unlocktool.net, and the validity is extended on that account.
- OumseGsm Tool Pro: the packages are listed for new users; existing accounts may need a different product, so contact support first.
- Shell MDM Tool: when a licence expires, order a new activation for the same account.
- Existing users only: FIRE FRP Tool credit refill, Global FRP Tool Realme credit and MG Unlocker Pro credits.
- Borneo Schematics: the 3 and 6-month packages are new activations.
One PC or more
- Shell MDM Tool: the licence binds to one machine through an HWID lock; HWID resets are limited by your plan.
- Borneo Schematics: the 1-year activation codes are for 1 PC or 2 PCs; the 3 and 6-month activations are for 1 or 2 users.
- FixHexa Tool: each key is for personal use on one PC.
- ArepaTool: PC changes are limited to once every 3 hours.
- OumseGsm Tool Pro: OumseGsm's site says licences are online, with a 5-hour lock per PC.
- UnlockTool: our product pages do not state a PC limit; the licence is tied to your unlocktool.net account.
Where to download the tool
Download tools only from the vendor's official site. Gsm Player does not host installers, and a re-hosted or tampered installer is a common way a working bench gets compromised.
